I have recently begun writing on Substack and up till now — August 2025 — I have kept it free for all entries. It’s a potpourri or buffet, an eclectic mix of whatever drifts through my mind, with some fiction, reflections on literature, excerpts from my own work, interviews with other writers and interesting characters, some art criticism, and some — occasionally a touch technical — discussions of economics, politics, science, cultural trends, and ecological affairs — in particular climate change and the “sixth extinction.”
